this week was very interesting in Jinhae! my companion is a really good missionary and we are always working hard here. This week we met with a few different people. Im still trying to figure everything out and memorize people's names, but its a slow process. So in the Jinhae ward we have a few recent converts that we meet with and teach. We met with one named Pak young min who is really funny, he has a little physical limitation and isnt that coordinated, his head shakes a little bit, and sometimes he clears his throat kinda like Gaulum from lord of the rings haha but we are like best friends even though we cant speak that much to each other. another recent convert is kim ik su and weve played basketball together a few times. We meet with his younger brother kim hi su and teach his younger brother. Kim hi su isnt a member because his parents dont like church and he will have to wait until he is 18 to get baptized. So we met with him and taught him about the plan of salvation for a few minutes. As far as investigators go, there are a few here but we havent been able to meet with them this week. We met with one for about 10 minutes while he exercised. the other 2 just cancelled our appointments and said they were busy, but elder Choi said that one of them is progressing, the other one always is busy so we might drop him. I met lots of people from the ward on sunday and they all seem really nice! we actually have 1 american family that comes, the evans. Brother evans is in the military but none of them speak korean.
So far, Jinhae is pretty good, im still getting my feet wet so ill have more next week! love you all, thanks!
